Esta canci\u00f3n me ha estado rondando la cabeza desde hace tiempo, y no sin raz\u00f3n. Hace poco m\u00e1s de un mes tuve la inmensa suerte de volver a escucharla en directo en el concierto de Springsteen en el Metropolitano, y recuerdo perfectamente lo que sent\u00ed.<\/p>

La letra de la canci\u00f3n habla de una despedida trist\u00edsima. En la ambig\u00fcedad del nombre y su g\u00e9nero, y en el misterio de que Bruce nunca ha revelado qui\u00e9n es “Bobby Jean”, parecen caber todas las despedidas del mundo (aunque, no obstante, \u201cBobby Jean\u201d se considera a menudo que fue escrita sobre su larga amistad con Steve Van Zandt, quien en ese momento estaba dejando la E Street Band). Es un adi\u00f3s impregnado de una nostalgia perenne, no ca\u00f3tico. No hay lugar para explicaciones sobre por qu\u00e9 uno debe irse; es un alejamiento definitivo que solo perdura en el recuerdo. Una despedida de alguien a quien no se puede guardar rencor, porque se le ama profundamente, y son las implacables circunstancias las que fuerzan a pronunciar ese “hasta siempre”. Si los rumores son ciertos y julio marc\u00f3 su \u00faltima visita a Madrid, su ausencia dejar\u00e1 un vac\u00edo dif\u00edcil de llenar. Tambi\u00e9n.<\/p>
